This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies RecapButler ("we", "us") uses on this website and in the RecapButler app, and why.

In short

We do not run advertising cookies or third-party cross-site tracking pixels. The cookies we use are limited to what is strictly necessary for the website and app to work.

Cookies we use

• Language preference. A small cookie remembers the language you were browsing in (English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français), so you do not have to reselect it on every visit.
• Authentication session (Supabase auth). If you sign in to the RecapButler app, we set session cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session from being hijacked. These are strictly necessary; without them you cannot stay logged in.
• Security cookies. Used to protect the sign-in flow and forms against cross-site request forgery and session abuse.

The RecapButler app does not store your personal data in browser localStorage.

What we do not use

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No cross-site tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts.
• No cookie-based analytics that build an advertising profile of you.

Basic, privacy-respecting traffic measurement on this marketing site (where used) does not rely on tracking cookies and does not build a personal profile.

Why necessary cookies cannot be declined individually

The cookies above exist to make the site and app function: keeping your session, remembering your language, and protecting forms. Because they are strictly necessary, they are not subject to a consent banner. You can still block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time; doing so may prevent you from staying signed in.

If this changes

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as advertising or analytics cookies that require consent, we will update this policy first, and the site will show a consent banner before any such cookie is set. Declining will not affect your access to the Service.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies from their settings. Because our necessary cookies are what keeps you signed in, blocking them will sign you out or prevent sign-in.
